Budget (including currency): not set yet but its Euros

Country: Germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: prime95

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Hello there,

The idea is to build a small Server to run prime95 24/7.

My thoughs were:

R 9950X3D

NH15D G2 LBC

some ITX board, those bobbles that deliver power to the cpu(was it the capacitor or the votage converters? or something else? i forgot the name) should they be decent? when cpu is running on 100 % permanenty?

~64 GB Ram (too much?)

M.2 drive (256 GB enough?)

powersupply whatever the CPU needs (heard something about they are most efficient with load around (50-60%))

the cheapest (small) case where the mainboard is even to the bottom so the cooler is "standing"

The idea is to run some light headless linux and do stuff via SSH. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help

Greetings

Prime95 is more than just a stress test - maybe he wants to contribute to the project?

I actually wasn't aware of this. After reading about the project it seems like there would be better projects to donate computing resources to (FAH, for example), but to each their own.
