Recently I've began charging my headphones with my phone brick because I have noticed it charges much faster. I'm worried that this could potentially ruin the battery life but I am not sure. Could anyone explain to me if there are any potential issues with doing this or is it all ok.

Battery life decreases faster if the battery gets hot during use. Don't get me wrong. The battery will always get hot when used, but the hotter it gets, the faster degradation happens.

Therefore, in theory, yes, charging your headphones that fast may cause the battery to get hotter than normal, hence the potential shortened life span.

However, in reality, I personally wouldn't care. Fast charging means I can get back to using it faster, so it's a good trade-off. And I've never seen a battery degrade so much and so fast that I cannot use it anymore. Most of the times the device will be broken first.

Therefore, enjoy your headphones the way you want to.

it depends if the battery is meant to be fast charged, otherwise you'll shorten its lifespan drastically and the operation isn't without danger either. absolutely not recommended.

funny enough like 95% of my devices its always the battery dying first (2-4 years) ...

What are those though? Maybe I'm buying and replacing my devices too often...
