Hello everyone,

so I have the issue that my PC shut down suddenly during office work and I can't start it anymore, so no fan running, no noises etc. nothing.

Steps taken:

So I've removed the components one by one and I noticed that when I do not connect the PSU to the GPU it seems to be able to boot. However, I am unsure how to discern whether this is an issue with the GPU, PSU or the motherboard. Unfortunately I don't have any other PSU, GPU, or Motherboard for additional testing.

Considering your system will boot without the GPU connected to the PSU, it sounds like the issue is most likely to either be the PSU or the GPU (It could also be a fault with that specific cable but you really don't want to be replacing cables seperately).

I believe the best thing to do would be ruling out the PSU with a power supply tester (I don't have much experience with these so can't recommend anything in particular), regardless they are quite cheap, certainly more so than a replacement PSU or GPU.
