Installed new CPU, now HDMI audio is not available

Go to solution Solved by umbles,

So I just went in blind and uninstalled every audio driver I could find from Driver Easy. Restarted the computer, and installed whatever it found (which was less than I uninstalled), and now it works.

So I installed my new CPU today, went from a Ryzen 1700 to a Ryzen 5700x3d.

Prior to upgrading, the audio for my TV was working just fine. I updated the BIOS of my Asrock x370 Taichi to 7.3 (after updating the BIOS twice before to be able to do so), then installed my new CPU.

Everything works fine, except for now, windows does not detect my television as an audio device. The picture works just fine. The audio out for speakers work just fine, and the audio for my USB headphones work just fine

I have tried clearing the CMOS, uninstalling and re-installing both AMD and Real Tech audio drivers. I have had driver easy do a run, and all of my drivers are up to date across the board, and I have tried a different HDMI cable (in case it somehow decided to break while swapping CPUs)

If anyone has any ideas on what else It could be, please let me know.

Thank you in advance.

speakers(steam streaming speakers
