I was in my computer as normal on YouTube and watching a movie. sudden ly my mouse threw itself into the corner and clicked consistently. I tried disconnecting the wireless mouse. even with no input the cursor pins itself into the corner and clicks. I tried connecting another mouse and it still doesn't help. after restarting my computer. I'm able to login, then after ~3 seconds, the cursor goes haywire again.

with the delay, it makes me feel like its some program. I researched a little online but every solution tells me to update the driver for the mouse. I would love to do that but unfortunately, in its current state, I have no use of my mouse. I was wondering if anybody has an idea or solution for my problem

I dunno what caused it.
But try booting into safe mode and do what you want to try from there.

You can always double check that theory by booting to safe mode. Windows keys>tab key 5x> right arrow to power button > down arrow to Restart > shift + enter.

Thatll boot you to Advanced Setup and from there you can go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings and then wait to reboot. Press the key for Safe Mode, it should still be 4. Dont boot with networking, we dont know the behavior of whatever software it is and how it connects to the outside world.

After that you can just either manually remove whatever new thing you installed before, or go and use virus scanners for this occasion. I personally only use Malwarebytes, terminate the issue, then uninstall again.
