Hey,

I have a few choices but I'm not sure which one to go for. I'm mainly planning to play at 1440p, but I also want a 4K monitor for some titles and future-proofing.

One of the options is the 31.5" ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM (3840x2160, 4K/UHD, 240Hz, QD-OLED, 90W USB-C), which is currently on sale for 1150 euros. I assume the discount is because of their newer model, the 32" ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP (3840x2160, 4K/UHD, 240Hz, WOLED, 90W USB-C), priced at 1530 euros. I'm wondering: is the 400-euro price difference really worth it?

Another option would be to go down to 1440p and get the ASUS 27" ROG Swift PG27AQDM (2560x1440, OLED, 240Hz) for 850 euros, or their new ASUS 27" ROG Swift PG27AQDP (2560x1440, WOLED, 480Hz) for 1100 euros.

Which one of these would you recommend? And if anyone has suggestions for other brands or models, feel free to let me know!

Thanks!

Man lucky you with those prices, those monitors are €1400 and €1800 for me. The other expensive WOLED model is not new but just a different panel with dual-mode option 1080p 480Hz one. So yeah costs more if you prefer that, in my case I do. Also it's matte which I like as well, QD-OLED one is more glossy, though it can act a bit weird with ambient light hitting it if it displays dark content, though it may not be an issues. Check some comparisons.

Depends what you plan and care more resolution wise, if you will be using 4K more I'd go 4K then. If not can always save money lower res and Hz too. Note that older OLED monitors don't really offer full bandwidth DP 2.1 80Gbps for more future proofing if you will, meaning you will be using DSC which may have issues.

As far as brands in terms of OLED they're all decent can mainly look at features as comparison and warranty also price.
