I want a browser that has a free and safe built-in VPN. I know that "free" and "safe" are not part of the same equation when it comes to VPNs, but let me explain: I don't really need a VPN, I'm not too concerned about my privacy, and I don't work with sensitive information or something like that. I just need some "basic protection" to watch YouTube videos about political or social topics without my ISP or my government knowing that I am watching that content, and to chat with people on social / dating sites without my IP being revealed to the world immediately.

I used to love Opera for its free built-in VPN, but I guess Opera is no longer an option (You guys may know why), so I was thinking about using "Epic Browser" as an alternative, but I know that "Epic Browser" is not very popular. I want to clarify: I won't log in to my personal or work Google, Microsoft or social media accounts from "Epic Browser". I will only use "Epic Browser" to watch YouTube videos and to chat with people on social / dating sites as I mentioned above, which I access with a dummy email account (not my personal or work email accounts). Do you guys think that "Epic Browser" is safe to use in Windows 11?

Also, as I mentioned above, I'm not too concerned about my privacy, I mean, I don't really care if Google / YouTube or Epic Browser collects a lot of information about me, but I certainly don't want my ISP or my government to know that I am watching YouTube videos about political or social topics.

Thank you guys in advance for your help and feedback!

so.. you're concerned with an entity interested in big data regarding their civillians potentiaally harvesting your watch history...

and your solution to this problem is a platform whose business model is selling your watch history to pay for the server you're going trough.

the thing with being concerned about privacy is that corporate data harvesting is a stunningly cheap tool for government surveillance. it's why you're worried about your ISP, yet you're not worried about a free-to-use VPN?
