Hi Linus Tech Tips Community,

I'm experiencing a frustrating issue that just started happening recently. My entire PC stutters whenever I'm playing Fortnite, and it affects not just the game but the whole system, making it almost unusable during gameplay.

Interestingly, other games seem to run fine without any stuttering, so the issue appears to be specific to Fortnite. I haven’t made any significant hardware or software changes recently, and basic checks like updating drivers and monitoring temperatures haven’t revealed any obvious problems.

If anyone has encountered something similar or has suggestions for fixing this, I'd greatly appreciate the help. Thanks in advance!

Hi Linus Tech Tips Community,

I just got a new monitor, but I’m experiencing a frustrating issue that recently started. My entire PC stutters whenever I’m playing Fortnite, and it affects not just the game but the whole system, making it nearly unusable during gameplay.

Interestingly, other games run fine without any stuttering, so the issue seems specific to Fortnite. I haven’t made any significant hardware or software changes other than the new monitor. Basic checks like updating drivers and monitoring temperatures haven’t revealed any obvious problems.

If anyone has encountered something similar or has suggestions (maybe related to the new monitor?), I’d really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance!
