Hey everyone, I need to buy a new case because my new graphics card (an XFX QICK 319 RX 7800 XT) is 335mm long and doesn’t fit in my current case.

I have a budget of up to R$1000, including shipping, but the less I can spend, the better.

I’m looking for a black, simple, and minimalist case. I prefer black fans without LEDs, but if it comes with LEDs, I’ll just turn them off. I’d like a future-proof case that can fit a 4090, supports at least ATX motherboards, has a focus on airflow, and offers good cable management.

These are maybe the best options here in Brazil (shipping included):
Lian Li LANCOOL 216 R$ 909,86 / $150

Lian Li Lancool 207 R$ 996,93 / $165

Montech Sky Two GX : R$ 485,80 / $80 (only has white version atm)

SilverStone Fara 514X : R$ 419,54 / $69

Budget (including currency): 1000BRL (about 165 usd)

Country: Brazil

The SilverStone Fara 514X is a fine choice for a budget case. The only issue I would have would be if you mount a radiator to the front of the case, it might not allow you to install the longest 4090s (360mm). Other than that, seems like a decent case for the price.

Edit: should note that the fans on the case will always run at 100% using the included fan hub.

Probably best cost-benefit. Is it a good idea to change the stock fans for better perfomance?

Not really. There wouldn't be too much of a change in performance. If they are loud, then you can change them if it bothers you.

all the case are good for air flow so its down to the small details i guess and spending twice the cost for some is it worth it.

SilverStone Fara 514X looks like comes with 4 fans but dose not have bottom intake but is the cheapest so i would scratch this off mt list imo

Montech Sky Two GX

probly the best option 3x 140mm fans looks like can have 2x 120mm fans on the bottom only 2x 140mm fans on top in case you wanted an 420mm aio on top but small detal

Lian Li LANCOOL 216

2x 160mm odd size to replace but thing you can put 140mm fan if need be. removable top, pci fan, cons only 2x140mm in front or top limitng an aio to 280mm

Lian Li Lancool 207

2x140mm30mm thick fans and 2x 120mm fans, cons only 280mm aio (oh looks like an aio will bock a back fan...

so montech best price and 420 aio in front

or 216

Look for cases with 3-4 pre-installed fans, those are very price efficient, 903 Base Montech is good like @brob recommended.

Alternatively you can go on pcpartpicker and look up these brands, with ATX motherboard and 360mm min GPU clearance checked: (there is no GPU at the moment that is longer than 360mm so it's very good)

Just posting this for more info on the 514x and Lancool 207 (to compare them)

Lancool is obviously better than the Fara 514x, but is it worth the price difference is up to you.

North is quite premium since it uses wood at the front part, though sometimes is cheaper,

though if some aesthetics are in play instead of just spending least on a box, there are definitely some cases that can check both boxes.

Would be way easier to know, what kind of aesthetics are you looking for, you found few RGB cases that include RGB fans.

Also there should be at least slight thought on how you'll connect these fans, do you have enough connections for all the fan power and RGB?

Actually I prefer no RGB, just all black cases with good airflow. Don’t have a fan hub yet, but I do have 3 montech metal fans with no rgb and 1 scythe kaze flex all of them with 4pin connectors.

Montech Air 903 Base was probably the best option for me if it was in stock.

Phanteks XT PRO, Fractal Design Pop Air, Corsair 3000D AIRFLOW, Fractal Design Meshify C, Fractal Design Focus 2, Phanteks ECLIPSE G500A DRGB (Fanless), NZXT H6 Flow, Lian Li LANCOOL 216, Lian Li Lancool II Mesh C Performance, Lian Li Lancool II Mesh, Fractal Design North

I haven't checked these cases, how long GPU they support, but most of them should support decently long GPU.
