Ive recently bought 2 x 27 inch 4k monitors and loving them however in certain games in particular CS2 I am having to change my resolution on windows to 1920 x 1080 so that I can play borderless window so I can use my second monitor inbetween rounds seemlessly. At the moment im having to go into my display settings then changing the res for the particular monitor then changing it back after which although it isnt much work its still a chore to remember. Is there a way to make a hotkey to change the res with a click of a button instead of having to do this everytime?

I have had a google and seen Hotkey resolution changer is an option for this however they dont support multiple monitors so dont believe this would be any good for me.

Any help would be great  :)

Windows doesn't have any inherent shortcuts to change resolution on the fly that I am aware of. But you can use a third party application to help achieve your goal:

See the setdisplay function. Automate using a simple batch file. But I am not sure how this handles multiple monitors.

Edit: According to changelog, multiple monitor support was added in 2010. I don't see an example of it though.

Thanks I'll have a play around with this as well as look into batch files (never heard of these before some research last night and see what works best for me as once I have a clear method I would then like to program some of my extra keyboard buttons to run these.
