I have a Canon EOS 2000d want to know if any Hotshoe shotgun mike mount will fit and a good shotgun mike with internal recording capabilities.

Main "Rig"=HP 11A G6 EE

Android Tablet

Raspberry PI Zero W 2

If you have any fun ideas for things for me to do with my PI, send me a direct message. 

I plan to upgrade within a few months to a proper computer.

It should fit mechanically as the mounts are standard sizes, and none of the pins will be use.d

 

DO you have a budget? I'd generally try to get a mic on a boom so its closer to the subject if possible instead of on the camera.

Less than $500. I have already found a lav mic and am a solo shooter and am not looking for a mic on a boom.
