I’m looking to buy a rtx 4070 but I can’t decide between the inno3d twin 2x or the asus dual evo. The inno3d seems to have 5 heat pipes that I can see from there website. But I’m not sure how many the asus one has. I can see at least 2 heat pipes but that seems way too few to cool a rtx 4070 and in that size. So my biggest concern is which one has the best cooling capabilities.

Can you wait like a month ? The 50 series is literally coming out next month. You might find something better for your wallet at the time.

So TechTesters did a roundup of 4070 Super including the Inno3d Twin X2 and ASUS DUAL / Evo

The ASUS Dual is quite a lot better in terms of noise levels and a little better in temperatures compared to the Inno3D twin 2X model.

I went on ASUS's website and checked the cooler / card dimensions and the 4070 Dual is identical to the 4070 Super Dual.  So I am very certain they are using the same cooler on both.

Get the ASUS card.

The evo is not the same card as the normal dual. I have not found any good reviews on the evo.

You are right... Ngreedia strikes again!

In all fairness, its a 200w card.  Its not difficult to cool.

You'll be happy with either one.

I am considering waiting, but it’s soon some type of «Christmas sale» here in Norway. I’m not sure that the 5000 series lunch will effekt the Norwegian market the same way it does in the us.

Ehey! A fellow Norwegian 🙂  Halla!

Norwegian prices usually stay quite high and take a while before they drop compared to the market in the US.

Halla, forventet ikke å møte en annen nordmann😄

Yeah that’s what I was afraid of. Do you know how the prices might be when it’s «romjuls-salg». I’m am going to Sweden this Christmas/new year, have seen that the prices go down to 5500kr for the rtx 4070 hope it gets that low while I’m there. You think the Norwegian market prices will come this low?

Joda, vi eksisterer 😄

I don't know.  Maybe they will have some sales on a few cards. They have one for the ''ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER'' over on Komplett right now.

Not in stock and they are not quite sure when it will be..

I doubt we will see the 4070's down in the 5500kr range.

You might get lucky!  I dont think the RTX 5000 series will affect the 4070's prices much in the beginning here in Norway.

The ''Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Windforce OC'' is very well priced at 6699 over on Komplett, its a 3 fan model as well.

The Norwegian market will not go as low as the Swedish market.

I checked both during BlackFriday and Sweden had lower prices overall during sale but not so much during non sales.
