Hej hej!

I have medical stuff with my joints being stupid easy to dislocate- like typing and mousing w/o wrist support has them popping sockets- so finding a good wrist-rest has been an adventure of lowering degrees of pain.

However!

In a forum for my medical condition, someone recommended this set of wrist rests. I just got them and DUDE.

I don't have to take breaks for the pain to come back down to a reasonable level, or wear a custom molded wrist brace, I can just go go go. Life-changing.

If a firmer wrist rest hurts your wrist, get these. They're freaking amazing.

Cons/notes:

  • They do have the downside of having soft jersey fabric covers, which means you really need to watch your coffee.
  • I suspect that due to the stretch of the fabric chosen, this will stretch out over time and need to be replaced or re-encased, but honestly that's worth it to me. Only you know if it's worth it to you, though.
  • They say that they're machine washable, but I'm going to err on the side of caution nevertheless.

The set is called "HandStands Beaded Keyboard & Mouse Wrist". Had to share this magic with you. They were like $12 or $15 for the set when I got them on Black Friday, but their regular price is $20, which honestly is still pretty decent.

That's nice to find a product that could meet your needs.

A kind reminder, although I'm not a doctor nor ergonomic expert, aside for ergonomically designed product, good sitting posture, monitor position and distance to eye, drink adequate water, some small walk after hours of sitting, and not resting your wrist while typing (wrist rest is actually used when we are not typing) is also an important factor

Other than that, have a nice day 🙂 (or night depending on your time zone)
