So as the title says im looking for a good wifi setup.

I had a wavelink antenna but within a year the plastic of the 5g and 2g were just falling a part.

Now i have this antenna because my garage and grandmothers house like 300-400 ft away and there on it. So i need something that will handle alot of devices. Not all will be on at the same time but theres like 7 tvs, 4 phones, 1 laptop, 2 or 3 google dot things and probably a few others.

Im thinking of getting a reolink poe switch with 8 poe ports,2 gugabit uplink port as my gateway for the 2 gaming tower and probably the playstation and maybe a tv or 2. I just want something thats all going to work well together hents the poe for another antenna.

Thanks

The biggest question is how much you are willing to spend, whether you are willing to go shopping for used parts, and what level of knowledge you have with networking.

I say this because I can recommend a $100k networking setup that is meant for an enterprise where you will probably have 2-8 devices per 100sqft (I would not expect anyone to feasible recommend this), but if you don't have a good amount of networking knowledge with a Ruckus, Cisco, or Juniper setup, all recommendations will be pointless. On the other end, if you are comfortable to go with used and are happy with learning a little bit and spending a little, you can get (roughly) the best value for a recommendation.

First of all can we get a network diagram so we know what we are working with. As well as a list of network equipment you already have. How big of an area are you trying to cover? What's is the building materials of the building in question?

Also if there is a gateway that has an easy to use vpn addition that would be awesome because i pay for it and i only really use it on my phone

Gateways in most cases mean Modem/Router Combos. The modem part is internet type specific, there are no modems that work on all types of internet.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Ok i have a modem(internet company providing so that can go to)that goes to a gateway and then to a  5 or 7 year old netgear router thats dieng or had so many devices on it because it is SLOW. As for money i want something to last but im not looking to cheap out.

My grandmothers house is brick, my house is drywall and wood and same for the garage. Looking at a 350ft to 400ft range. Think of my house being the bottom part of the y and the right top of the y is grandmas and left top of the y is garage. Side note the range above is to either grandmothers or to garage both are roughly the same to my house.

Thanks for any help guys
