Just upgred CPU from i5 12600 to i7 13700KF on a B760 MSI motherboard. Lag and crashing with cpu temps at 30 idle.

Not sure what could be the issue. I didn't have much time to troubleshoot before I went to work. I'm going to reseat the ram when I get home just in case it's that. But, are there any other things I could do that could solve this issue?

What cpu cooler do you have? That CPU runs hot typically so you need a definitely need a decent cooler for it. You could try undervolting it also.

It's a Starforge PC. I don't have the cooler in front of me atm but it was similar to this one. (Note, this is not the cooler that is in the PC. I'll have to double check when I get home. This is just a similar one I could find. Thermalright Assassin X120)

30 degrees Celsius at idle isn’t bad, lagging and crashing could be many different things, I’d do a thorough troubleshoot to determine what the issue is. If it 100% confirmed is the cpu overheating then I’d look into adding an extra fan to your cooler or getting a contact frame. You could also try higher quality thermal paste or even just getting a new cooler if none of that fixes it.
