My brother is connecting from China, google shows everything in Chinese for me

I'm living in Norway, and my brother needs a VPN (because of the great firewall of China). I installed Wireguard as the vpn service.

I'm being redirecting to google.com.hk even though it should be google.no

For dns I use 9.9.9.9 and 1.1.1.1 in my router

I used the wireguard install guide from pimylifeup.com

Any possible fix for this?

There must be some configuration error here that is causing you to route via him rather than him route via you.

ASUS B650E-F GAMING WIFI + R7 7800X3D + 2x Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36-76  + ASUS RTX 4090 TUF Gaming OC

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) Backup: GL.iNet GL-X3000/ Spitz AX Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz) WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz)
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~1200Mbit down, 115Mbit up, variable)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

Do you know where I can look for it? It's the default conf.

Everyone in the household is being redirected to google.com.hk even though we live in Norway.

I can't really get my head around how this happened, given there should be only your brother connected to the VPN.

Does this happen when they are NOT connected?  What happens when the machine running the Wireguard server is turned off entirely?

I've got a new ip, so no one is connected, and I don't have Chinese google anymore. So, it has to be the wireguard connection 😕
