S1 reloaded updated droped today, also got a drivers update so i did them both, but when i got in game i noticed i lost bout 40-50% of my performance also my vram usage would not go over 30%, before i update i will get around 200-230fps but after it i could not get over 120fps.

i ran a bencmark test and the game could not even load in the guns(didnt happend the first time i did) and was getting 100% bottleneck on the gpu

first i tired reinstall the driv ers, and the ingame shaders i didnt change anything, then i uninstalled the new drivers and downloaded the previous one that didnt help either.

then i reinstalled my whole pc and install the game and drivers fresh, it got a bit better but still no were near pre-update performance(around 150fps max)

i legit dont know what too do, all will did was updated my drivers, that the game told me i got updated for and i lost 40% performance of my pc.

specs:

cpu: ryzen 7800x3d

gpu: 3080 ti

ram: ddr5 5600mt 32GB

play on 1440p

made an account just to reply to this i too have the same and actually have had it ever since bo6 dropped every driver update after the bo6 release one has made me lose upwards to 50fps. I wonder if theirs anything we can do abt it other than use older drivers.

First one is newest driver released on the same day Dec 6.

second is the older driver I've been running since.

hey thanks for the reply, i just reinstall previous driver and ran it in game, sadly there is still no changes for me, also ran a benchmark with the old one, and i still got 100% bottleneck on my gpu, looks like when i open the nvidia app it clashed with my previous setting for my gpu while trying to optimise it. i got a csv file if anyone wanna look at it.BlackOps6_Benchmark_20763905_20241206_094752.csv

I have exactly the same problem. Made the Nvidia update, the BO6 update and also had a major windows Update. I dropped from stable 155-165 FPS down to anything between 100-140, especially in gunfights going all the way down. I reinstalled the older driver, but no fix. I didnt touch the windows because i saw some people complaining about the same things, so has to be the game.

Report to Nvidia, make noise in their forum, and  you might get a hotfix in a couple of days.

when i installed the new drivers my rams setting got reset from 56k to 48k, also i see a perfomance lost around other games aswell. i wish you were right, but i think the nvidia app replaced my settings when i downloaded the driver.

As of Dec. 15 i was still using NVIDIA driver 565.00 which was below recommended for most games including BO6 bc My performance saw a decrease of 40-50 frames I showed my benchmark results a few weeks ago on this thread in case anyone would like to see but today i decided to do a DDU driver clean restart and that seemed to have fixed the issue for me im not 1000% sure because I have not tried it In a match yet but i ran a benchmark using the BO6 tool just as my earlier test of weeks prior and my avg fps was 253 which is 3+ more than it was before and I'm on the newest driver which was the one causing my issues weeks earlier. So def recommend doing a DDU driver install if you have the same problem.

Its been a few days and just want to say i think without a doubt it was NVIDIA overlay causing the Significant performance lost.
