Why my mini led monitor has less contrast and colors than my IPS ?

Hi

I have two monitors benq ips and koorui GN10 mini led but I see the text and colors are better in benq more than the koorui. I am not sure if I should change something in the OSD. Also want to ask which has better colors and details mini led or quantum dot ?

Thanks

Mini led only means the backlight is an array of a lot of small LEDs, the panel in front can just as much be good or garbage.

Best to look at actual reviews to know how good a specific monitor is or isn't.

I did that , many say good things about koorui gn10

What is the backlight dimming setting?

Are you watching HDR or SDR content?

If you show only back in a dark room can you see any backlight?

I use SDR , HDR is too bright for my eyes

Quickly perusing various Reddit threads, is sure reads like this thing may need some calibration out of the box. Maybe read some more to see if you can get someone's ICC profile or buy the calibration hardware? Personally I'd rather spend a little more and get something well calibrated out of the box. Have you played around with the OSD?
