My first gaming pc would this be a good start?

is your build good? short answer, no.

better cpu, gpu, case, power supply (bonus, its modular). fans are not important and as for the OS its a bad idea to buy retail. its well documented and there are plenty of websites to buy windows keys for cheap. linus recently posted a vid on this too. this leaves power headroom for a future gpu upgrade and you can swap out the cpu later for a 5700x3d.

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: sims, enshrouded, Minecraft with shaders, COD 6, the Witcher,  i play mostly cozy games but high graphics are important to me

thank you for the response I'm new to the whole pc making thing so i really appreciate the list you made in my budget i will defiantly use this over mine
