Budget (including currency): $200

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Forza Horizon, GTA V, CS2, PUBG, misc. other games. Light music/video/photo production and editing.

Other details: Current build is Ryzen 5 5600x, ASRock B550m Pro4, Radeon 7900xt, 48gb DDR4-3600, 3tb combined gen 4 NVME storage, 750w EVGA G+. Running at 1440p/144hz.

Long story short, I just got a smokin deal on a 7900xt, and I'm wondering if i should upgrade my current 5600x and drop in a 5700x3d. From what i see online its around a 20-35% gain in gaming performance, and specifically on FH5 its seeming like my low end 2 generation old cpu is bottlenecking my current gen high end gpu, what a surprise. I know that AM4 is a "dead" platform, but $200 for a sizeable performance increase seems like a good route as opposed to a minimum of $600 for a new AM5 motherboard, cpu, and DDR5. Just wondering if anyone has any advice or recommendations for this.
