Nope, okay that theory is dashed, as when I went to test again, I ensure the cable didn't get trapped as I magnetized it to the base, and the PC still crashed. Anyways, I am now going to shut up, to save you from all these notis

Hello Everyone,

So I have a 900Mbps connection at my house, and recently got a WiFi 7 router (I'm in the UK). So of course, got the ONLY WiFi 7 card I could find to work with AMD https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CVJPCQFJ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title Well, everything is all good and that. Not getting near my speed (obviously it's WiFi, but getting damn close around 850Mbps (on 6ghz), so here comes my issue... When I was redownloading GTA (I use it as a "performance test" I AM aware, that's not really scientific but it works for me.

Anyways, when moving my external aerial about (one linked above) whilst downloading GTA to get the optimal position. My PC seems to crash.... Why? and How?

Check Windows device manager and look for any flags next to the hardware listing. If there is an issue it be highlighted in yellow. Also while you are there check the current version of your driver. If needed update your driver. Also log up the error logs in Windows. So that it can tell you what caused the crash. You can use Windows Event Viewer to display errors and crash info. If you don't fully understand the error then you can do a web search.

Hmm strange one, does not seem to have logged any errors last "activity" was logged about 5 hours ago, however the situation happened not long before I made this post. Latest driver is indeed installed. I'm unsure as to why it happened, does not seem to happen when I move it when not downloading something. So it's a mystery to me 😕

Okay, I went back through Windows Event Viewer, there's TONS of yellow warnings and everything, but none relating to this as these errors also showed before this WiFi card was installed

Okay, ignore me I am a complete idiot, I realised something. I went to recreate the error, and I as I went to magnetize the aerial back my desk (it's metal) the aerial cable got stuck under the magnet. Which then caused the crash, so I believe this to be the cause. I don't know how as I'm not a full tech genius, but my only theory could be the magnet causing a surge in the cables causing the PC to have a hissy fit and crash
