Hi there,

Let me ask you this:

1 - What type of photography will you be doing

2 - What specs do you want to have in the camera

3 - Will you go only for the camera brand lens, third party, both

4 - What is your priority toward the camera body (good grip, compact, small, big)

You want a low shutter speed for fireworks, not high.

Sony’s are well known for having (if i’m not mistaken) the best 3rd party lens lineup of the bunch. If you want a compact your best choice is the A6xxxx lineup and basically choose the one that gives you more shoots. Being an apsc you’ll have the crop factor that is an advantage for lanscape. Or you can go A7C thats a small full frame camera, much like the A6xxxx form factor.

That’s only true if you completely ignore the entire massive library of canon EF lenses that adapt damn near flawlessly to their mirrorless bodies.  Not saying canon is the better option at the price point but if there are specific lenses that you are interested in you’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t also look at EF options from any number of companies that could fill those needs.

Well yeah but you have to factor in the cost of the adapter along side the lenses and the fact that the setup will get bigger. Not sure if the OP wants to consider it but sure is a possibility

$129 once is not much given the amount of amazing EF glass there is available for such low prices out there.  A damn EF 70-200 f/2.8 mkIII lens can be had for about $1000 used in excellent condition.  Thats an amazing deal even if you include the cost of the adapter.

There are plenty of third party lenses that are also cheap. The benefit of mirror less is that you can adapt nearly any lens to any camera system. Choose based on what feels best in the hand.
