Hey guys!
I'm currently put in front of a big decision: selecting a new monitor I want to buy.
I've (luckily for you) dialed it down to 2 options at the moment: the Viewsonic Omni XG2431 and the Acer Nitro XV252QF.

Now, I get that these monitors are in completely different tiers, with the Viewsonic being 240hz and the Acer one being 390hz (wtf!).
I am on 165Hz right now, but I want to really up my gaming with a new monitor and have the most competitive advantage, while also having a panel that is acceptable for other tasks such as media consumption, school work and video editing. (note: I am not a pro video editor and the videos I edit are also no blockbusters, so video editing is NOT the main focus)
The competitive game I play the most is Rainbow Six Siege, where I currently average FPS so that it always has a min. FPS of around 250.
You may think to yourself: "Well, in that case the 390hz Acer monitor doesn't make sense at all, lol", which is true, yes, but I also play other competitive games such as Valorant, Overwatch or League Of Legends. And especially in Valorant, where i average more than 500FPS, i can make great use of the 390Hz. Also, I am planning to upgrade my GPU soon, which will make my FPS in RainbowSix go up, where at some point i can make use of the 390Hz even in R6.
Also, i've seen that the Viewsonic has amazing motion blur reduction, while the Acer one is a bit worse when it comes to that.
Anyways, my focus is just to have a good competitive advantage and pretty much achieve the best I can.
But I am still unsure, since the price difference between the 2 is around 120$ where I live.

Judging by my input, which of these options would you guys choose? 馃槷
