I still have the original box, but it seems I’ve lost the anti-static bag.  Is that a problem?

Yes, the motherboard could get electrically damaged in shipping. For how cheap they are on Amazon, I would buy one.

The motherboard box is pretty good too, it is recommended to build PC on motherboard box because it's good anti-static surface

If I bought a 2nd hand motherboard, and opened the box to see the motherboard in no anti static bag, that would feel kinda shitty, ngl. But it most likely would work anyway.

i never pack mine in anti static bags and they usually arrive just fine, heck most of the used boards i buy arent packed with anti static bags and just bubblewrap

 

youll be just fine but if you can buy anti static bags for cheap then you might aswell
