Has anyone managed to install Resilio Sync on Truenas Scale ElectricEel?

 

I'm looking for a bidirectional sync solution to keep my Synology and Truenas server synced over the internet. 

Resilio sync is a great solution I've used before to keep files synced up and there's an easy install on Synology.

 

From what I can tell on forums, people have got resilio sync running on truenas but there's no documentation on how and the 'Custom app' install is not trivial.

If anyone has managed this, a step-by-step of how you managed it would be greatly appreciated! 

 

My hacky solution as of now is to run a windows vm with the windows resilio sync application...
