Posted November 13 Has anyone powered a full ATX computer using USBC with one of these? Looking at something to power the "server" off a power station for as long as possible. Turning on AC uses 15w just by itself plus about 15% loss in conversion. The machine pulls 40-60w under typical loads that makes a huge difference. This a 12600k running low power BIOS settings, Proxmox, 2 960GB optane drives, 110G optane for OS and a 2.5Gbit NIC. No video card, drives, etc. BTW: I put my tv tuner on another unit. on AC it would run 17 hours. on USBC it maxes the screen out at 99 hours!
