New to custom mechanical keybord, how do I check parts compatibility ?

I recently came to know that modding a keboard was a thing and I found it sooo f-ing interesting and fun. I wanted to mod my K617(link below) so I got Akko V3 switches(link below) but they didnt fit, i saw a thread on reddit that a guy used these switched for K617 but I cannot find it right now . What do I look for when buying switches ? I also want to get textured PBT switches, add stabalizers and foam.

Additionally can you suggest a good Canadian website for this, I dont wanna pay any import charges on this.

(PS : I want a deep thocky sound)

It looks like they are using Outemu hotswap sockets, which are not always compatible with a lot of other switches.

According to Akko, their V3 switches are only compatible with newer Redragon Keyboards, so make sure to look for that.
