G = A850G.

GL = A850GL.

The GL doesn't use japanese capacitors, and doesn't have a 0 RPM mode, so it's not as quiet, though in my experience it's not noticeable, at least when the PC is under the desk

No problem. To clarify on the warranty part I mentioned, 5 year (GL) versus 10 year (G). I've seen some retailers incorrectly list the GL as 10.
