If this is a newer ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14, it may not support Windows 10 - the manufacturer doesn't even list Windows 10 on the support page. I would ask the manufacturer to verify if Windows 10 is even compatible with this laptop before spending more time trying to install it.

Never mind. I got it to work. I found another Windows install USB I had lying around. From what I can see, this one has a different Windows 10 ISO flashed onto it, so it must have been something with the ISO I was using before.

Video of the problem

I just got an ROG Zephyrus G14, and it came with Windows 11, but I wanted to put Windows 10 on it. The problem is that the Windows installer freezes as soon as it tries to boot. I've tried 2 different flash drives as well as using Balena Etcher to flash the drives instead of Rufus, but my computer didn't see either of those drives when I tried that (which I sort of expected after getting a message on screen telling me to use Rufus instead for Windows install USBs). I'm not sure what else to try.

Main Gaming PC: Ryzen 9 8945HS | RTX 4070 Mobile | 32GB DDR5 7500 | 1TB SSD | Windows 10

Server: Dell Optiplex 9010 | Core i5 3470 | 8GB DDR3 1600 | 1x 240GB SSD | 2x 4TB HDD | Windows Server

Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-0401-7853-6422

Wii Console Number: 0476 3397 0330 5218

3DS Friend Code: 1221-2773-6856

Is that even possible? I mean short of bios level code not allowing it, any PC is technically windows compatible, even using win95!!

Same goes for Linux

AMD R9  7950X3D CPU/ Asus ROG STRIX X670E-E board/ 2x32GB G-Skill Trident Z Neo 6000CL30 RAM ASUS TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX OC Edition GPU/ Phanteks P600S case /  Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 ARGB cooler/  2TB WD SN850 NVme + 2TB Crucial T500  NVme  + 4TB Toshiba X300 HDD / Corsair RM850x PSU/ Alienware AW3420DW 34" 120Hz 3440x1440p monitor / ASUS ROG AZOTH keyboard/ Logitech G PRO X Superlight mouse / Audeze Maxwell headphones

If a computer is made with components that a given operating system doesn't know how to talk to and there are no drivers available, yes, it's possible.

Which one ? Maybe the NPU chip, that's the only thing I can think of ?
