Hey thanks for updating i live in canada i was considering fact that its a little different than other i dont care much about cameras i dont take a lot of picture i like a phone to have good battery i often have to use my phone for work its a factor in my purchase i am waiting for black friday for a better deal hopefully i can some flagship phone cheaper i did consider S24 and 24+ but they seem same as all the other phones samsung makes thats why i am not looking for that option  i don’t use camera a lot  so that doesnt matter. I have use pixel 2 for year but i was in india back then could not find any replacement or accessories there which concerns me and part of reason why i am little more confused on should i buy a pixel

Google offers much better support in Canada.

Let’s put it this way: while I would be fine with an S24, if it were my money I’d get the regular Pixel 9. Good battery, a clean software experience that will help you transition from the iPhone, and still a great camera system in those moments you might use it.

I'm daily driving a Z Fold 5 and a iPhone 15 Pro (the iphone being my work/personal phone).

Before the Z Fold I had a S21 Ultra.

I'd say you can't go wrong with the latest flagship, but if you want to explore further I can highly recommend the Fold.
The flip doesn't make much sense for me since you're already considering the flagship full size, so I'd put it between the S24 / Fold 6 instead (If within budget ofc cause it is a bit pricey).

Even though I have 2 phones on me daily, I'm not a massive phone user. But I have to say having the bigger screen on my fold for emails, navigation, or just games is a game changer (pun not intended actually). I do use the front screen for mindless instagram scrolling, or when I'm on the move.
And the camera does pretty well, but I do prefer the iPhone when taking pictures of the kids or whatever.

For myself, I'm considering exploring other brands of Androids when its time for an upgrade, but Samsung has been working great for me since the S7 Edge. So you can't really go wrong with it.

hi guys, I’m looking to buy a new phone but I’m confused here a bit on whether I should buy S 24 or Z flip. I don’t take many pictures. I do want to shift to android. I am using iOS right now. Any advice would be appreciated

I'd only get the Galaxy Z Flip 6 if you want that clamshell form factor or just feel like being different (which is a fine reason, to be clear). You make a few compromises in cameras, battery life, and durability for the sake of that folding screen.

Which country do you live in? If you're in a country where it's an option, I'd seriously consider a Google Pixel 9 model, ideally the Pro or Pro XL. Great cameras, long battery life, long software support, and none of Samsung's software if that annoys you. It's the closest to the iPhone experience that you'll get on Android.

If the Pixel isn't an option, I'd get a Galaxy S24 (preferably the S24+ or S24 Ultra). It's still a great phone, it's just that there are a few camera decisions I don't like, and that there are some software nuisances that might rub you the wrong way.

Thanks for the update I am on iphone 12  right now my battery is below 80% health and my charging pin is also dead . I like to mess around with different apps i even used parsec on my previous i am considering fold 6 but its on the expensive side gonna cost me $120 a month ( if i choose financeinh) Have you had any problems with your fold? did you ever had to get the screen replaced? Is buying a insurance/ warranty 3rd party worth it?
