Other details i curently have a Ryzen 2600 | 16 GB DDR4 3200 MT | GTX 1660 super | B450 Mobo | 

 

i have some money to upgrade my pc but im asking for help to decide if i should buy a new gpu i have in mind a 4070 super and get a Ryzen 5600. or do you think is worth it to save some more money and jump o AM5?

 

or any other recomendations you can give me

Don't buy a 5600 new, but it would be a great choice to buy used.

You'll get more performance from the newer CPUs, but it will, of course, be more expensive. Only you can really decide if the added cost is worth it.

i jumped from a 3900X to a 7800X3d and im happy but i also carried over my case psu cpu cooler gpu and ssd so i only needed the cpu ram and mobo. id say go for a 5700X3D cpu and if gaming at 1080p a 6700xt you will be happy with the results and can save some money pcpartpicker can also help in terms of checking prices on parts

difference will be in power efficiency, their performance will probably match when theyre both overclocked
