GIMP: Apple Design Resources Product Bezels Gimp Usage

Hello,

I am a New GIMP User,

I downloaded the "Apple TV - 4K" "Product Bezels" .psd files from https://developer.apple.com/design/resources, and I have my logo and banner.

How do I put my logo in the app section and the hero in the background

Rename the main layer to be background.

Create a few new layers, with transparent backgrounds and call them top-arrow, icon-bar, bottom-icons and tv-content.

 

Use the selection tool to cut the arrow from the top and place it in that new top-arrow layer and use the eraser to remove any content outside of the arrow.

Use the selection tool to cut the icon bar and place it in that new icon-bar layer and use the eraser to remove any content outside of the curved border.

Use the selection tool to cut the bottom icons and place them in that new bottom-icons layer and use the eraser to remove any content outside of the curved border.

Add your content to the tv-content layer.

 

Position all of these layers appropriately and order them as:

1. top-arrow
2. icon-bar
3. bottom-icons
4. tv-content
5. background
