Having issue with Ryzen 7 7800 X3D + XFX RX 6800XT

Hello,

 

So basically, i recently changed my graphic for XFX RX 6800XT.

When i am playing game, after couple of minutes the game just hangs and i hear a sound of driver/devices unplugging. At this point, i am not able to use the pc at all as its frozen and my only option is force restart. Once i restart my PC, i notice in the device manager that RX 6800XT disables itself. Now i have down the following to troubleshoot so far.

 

Troubleshoot steps I already tried
1) Did a clean Window/GPU install using DDU
2) Disabled IGPU
3) Installed order version of Adrenaline Software below (Adrenalin 24.10.1, I think the one I tried was 24.9 or below.
4) Made sure my bios latest version
5) Made sure temps were normal during the time game was working (Below 70 C) on GPU.
6) Run the GPU on default tuning settings from Adrenaline software

 

 

My Setup is as following:
CPU: Ryzen 7800 X3D
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 32GB DDR5 @ 6000 MHZ
MOBO: Asus X670E - A
PSU: 850W

 

Previously I was using NVidia GPU and never have experience any sort of issue. This is my first time switching to AMD and the platform so far have scared me to death with this sort of experience.

test prim95 large ffts (ram stability)

corecyler (cpu stability)

 

if they pass and issue still persists try xmp off see if that helps

 

if the issue still persists then its down to the gpu and motherboard

Consider re-seatting the GPU.
