Monitor Upgrade Reccomendations

Go to solution Solved by Electronics Wizardy,

Is there a size you want?

LG C2(or newer c series if you ca) 42in? I have one, very good HDR, about as good as you get with black level.

Hello, I currently have a BenQ P2700U I bought for photo editing and have been gaming on it for a year and a half or so.

After upgrading to a 7900xt I feel like I should get a new monitor next.  Preferably 1440p, I have heard a lot about HDR but don't quite have a point of comparison for any of this.  I have always played games at 60hz and don't know what my 7900xt could even push with the games I play. (I play Elden Ring, War Thunder, World of Warships, and Supreme Commander Forged Alliance)

Would anyone have a recommendation under 700$ that would be a significant upgrade from what I currently have?(at that 1440p resolution)

Apologies if this is posted in the incorrect area, I am still quite unfamiliar with how these forums function.

With your budget you can get an OLED, so that's what I'd recommend.

The LG 27GR95QE-B or MSI MAG 271QPX QD-OLED E2 are both great options in your budget. The LG is WOLED and the MSI is QD-OLED, so you should read up on the differences between the two technologies.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
