I am having difficulty searching for this topic online, I can't seem to find a post somewhere that explains how to do it for this model or if it is worth, I wanted to do undervolt but since it needs to bios backflash and other things I got scared (sadly I bricked two motherboards doing backflash before)

Unless you are seeing major throttling behavior: I doubt it would make an appreciable difference outside of benchmarks. It's a 15w chip, and if the thermal solution is having trouble at 15w sustained load: I doubt you'd notice enough of a difference for the hazard of a modded laptop BIOS.

this might be worth looking at in the comments

apparently bios needs to be modded by yourself, you can do this with amibcp to unlock the extra menus

heres a repository for bios mod tools which i just now found out about and will probably make use of as ive also been looking for stuff to edit award/pheonixbios see if i can get my x58a ud3r to oc any better, you might also find a use for the extra tools aswell depending on what else you are trying to do

iirc the undervolt lock thing is due to a newer microcode in which case youll want to use mmtool to edit the microcode in the bios

this might be a useful tutorial on using amibcp

as for flashing the bios im sure theres ways to go about using software in freedos that i forgot the name of but you can also do it hardware with a ch341a

if you go the hardware flashing route id highly reccomend desoldering instead of using those stupid bios clips of which the majority are finnicky at best, all you need is some actually good solder that melts at low temp alongside two soldering irons or a heatgun to desolder and resolder
