GPT or MBR for my drive?

I formatted my ssd and want to initialize it on my new windows, its asking in disk management if i want it as mbr or gpt? Its a 980 pro 1tb and ill use it for games

You only want to use MBR for PCs too old to support GPT. (For one thing, it only supports up to 2 TB per volume.)

Also should i make it NTFS or exfat

For a Windows boot drive? NTFS.

 

For general data storage, it doesn't make a huge difference. I format all my internal Windows drives as NTFS.
