I changed from b360m pro-vh

to z390 mpg, both msi motherboards

16gb changsd 32gb 3200mhz ram

I added 2nd m.2 ssd 2tb and I have One Windows 500gb ssd

I put the Windows 500gb ssd to m.2_2

And the new 2tb ssd to m.2_1, On the new motherboard

Ram Installed in all 4 spots

I launch into bios no problem however when I launch I get an error

File: \windows\system32\winload.efi

Error code: 0x0000221

The digital signature for this file couldn't be verified.

Error code: 0x0000428

I have a mac, so I created a bootable usb drive, using windows website and homebrew. Did all the steps, went to my pc upstairs, although I am having trouble being able to use the windows usb and use command prompt to proceed with anything on the windows where I am getting errors.

Or am I missing something in my bios setup improperly? ( I have tried to change to boot from usb in bios and start although it gives me the second error code )

Something is not right here???   You have a MAC but you're trying to load Windows???  I'm not a MAC person, but my girlfriend is but unfortunately she is a USER, and nothing else.   But I had to be sure, you're trying to run Windows on a MAC, isn't there something out there called "WinBoot", or something like that?  You might want to do a little more research on Google.

but you can create Windows 11 installation media on a Mac using Boot Camp Assistant:

  1. Download the Windows 11 ISO file

Prepare a USB flash drive with at least 8 GB of storage
  2.

  3. Open Boot Camp Assistant, which is located in the Utilities folder of your Applications folder

  4. Check "Create a Windows 7 or later install disk"

  5. Select your Windows 11 ISO and the USB drive

  6. Click Continue

  7. Let Boot Camp Assistant create the bootable USB

I used the mac to create a bootable drive… so I can enter command prompt on my windows pc, although its not working.

The Mac is the only other computer working now currently in my house.

In order to try to fix the error codes I am receiving on windows when I just changed the motherboard and ram.

To be clear no I am NOT trying to run a Windows on a Mac. I Am using the mac to make a bootable drive, for my windows pc that will now not start.

Good luck with the task.  My wife has a 6 going on 7 year old Mac and the biggest pet peave is the mouse wheel goes in the wrong direction.

Take care and good luck.
