amd Video glitching mostly while browsing FB. 7900XT

I get this glitch mostly when I am browsing Facebook, and that too, at some particular post each day. It is the same kind of glitch every time.

There are rare occasions, where I get the same glitch while gaming.

However, the gaming performance is as expected of the card.

Switched to onboard  HDMI out and there was no glitch. Glitch happens in both Display port and HDMI port.

what could be the cause? Should I RMA the graphics card?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X

MoBo: MSI PRO B650-P

GPU: XFX RX 7900 XT Speedster MERC 310

The motherboard HDMI port should be running off your processor's iGPU, but that also eliminates the cable and display as potential culprits.

 

Try running DDU to completely remove your existing display drivers, then install the latest driver package for your 7900 XT.
