Need some purchase advice 馃

EdoTensei

I sold my PC recently for about 1K, as I need some cash for new car deposit and Silent Hill 2 Remake spilled the cup of bitterness with endless stuttering.聽

I really want to sit down and play a game, instead of trying to find a solution to fix the stuttering, which took my almost whole day yesterday. Meanwhile PS5 even if has the same issue, it鈥檚 not even close to how bad PC is..聽

Almost every game I played recently (new releases) had some performance issues, while PS5 has less of them or non, besides lower resolution and 30Fps, but I prefer smooth gameplay without much of issues even at 30Fps. I鈥檓 so tired of PC, so even if not the car then I would sell it anyway 馃し馃徎

So, I鈥檓 here because I鈥檓 thinking about PS5 Pro, but this price is so damn high, and if it would be a bit lower, and I wouldn鈥檛 have to buy a car, then I could Pre-Oredr it, because I鈥檓 a bit afraid that after releasing, the price will jump significantly due to scalpers.聽

But I鈥檓 not sure what would 聽be best. Cuz I can buy PS5 used for 250-300 or for about 340 on Amazon and get 30 months for return, so I could return it and buy Pro, but the delivery for any PS5 on Amazon is not sooner than 16-17 October, which is not that far from PS5 Pro release, and here is my bigger concern..

The question is if people really gonna buy Pro for over 700$\拢 or Sony will drop the price due to people won鈥檛 buy it, which would be a good thing imho.聽

It鈥檚 just half of the month till Pro will be dropped, but I have nothing to play on, so I鈥檓 a bit confused 馃槅

Don't do this. It is a dick move. If you have no intention of keeping it, don't buy it.

I'd say focus on your car and worry about getting a pro at a later time if you still would like to get one.聽
