God of War Ragnarok PC occasionally crashes to desktop.

SPECS:

5800X3D

Windows 11 Home

RX 7900XT Latest Drivers

32GB DDR4-3200

RM750X power supply

All temps nice and cool and within specification. I've also run up higher power loads than this in synthetic CPU+GPU testing so no, it's not the power supply.

Anyway,

I'm not sure why it does this. I've gout about 30 hours in the game and it's only ever done it twice, both while riding the boat in Vanaheim. No temps are out of spec, no driver timeout, game just feezes up and crashes.

I have two event viewer logs from the time of the most recent crash:

GOWcrash1.jpg.c47cf0f85a0ff07addbc73d093cc2e81.jpg

It seems to be relating to the game's GoWR.exe as well as whatever "CoremessagingXP.dll" is. But they seem to kick the bucket every once in a blue moon. I'd just like to understand why. There are no other event viewer / hardware logs around that time that are relevant anyway.

Is it the only game that crash?

Could it be a bug with the game itself? Both times it crashed it happened when you did the same thing in the game, so it does sound like a game bug to me.

I mean, it's the only game that crashes in that way. Occasionally I've had Helldivers II crash in a similar manner, but I can't speak for recently as I haven't played it in months. I can play Space Marine II without crashes (finally), and I had Deep Rock Galactic crash to desktop once because I was alt-tabbing out to check another program. Idk. I've had the odd game CTD in my lifetime, sure, but am I having a noticeable issue with it atm? Not that I know of.

I actually just checked and I've got 60 hours in GOWR so far, with 2 CTD's to show for it, both in Vanaheim, both while in the canoe, although I've no idea if it's in the same spot both times.
