Lithium Poly VS Lithium Ion?

So when deciding between one phone and another one has a Lithium Polymer battery and the other has a Lithium Ion. What are the differences? Which one will last longer before needing replacement? I do see the Lithium Polymer ones support faster charging.

Li-on can handle more charge cycles but with slower charging, Li-po is faster charging and less cycles.

Li-poly is just "a variant" of Li-ion, so even if both say different things it's likely one just gives more detail and you'll have the same thing in both. I've never seen a phone with a Li-ion battery that's not Li-ion Polymer.
