removed and plugged the cmos battery back on my motherboard and my pc is having display problems, need help

so recently i messed around with my bios, turning my dram frequency too high, which resulted with no display, so i tried resetting my bios by putting a screwdriver on the clrtc pins, and it didnt work, so removed the cmos battery for 5 mins and put it back, it worked, it booted, but it took like 30 seconds longer, and when i tried to restart my pc didnt boot, and i did the cmos battery thing again and removed power for 5 mins. and it worked again, but as soon as i restart the pc had no display, so im basically stuck doing the cmos thing and removing power for 5 mins to make my pc boot, and the restarting it still doesnt work, anyone having the same problem? any tips to fix it??

Do the Clear-CMOS procedure again, but before booting the OS, go into the BIOS itself, search for and select "Load default values" (or something in similar vain) and reboot the system. Now, your mainboard should be exactly as it was when you bought it.
