Posted October 4, 2024 Seems to happen on all my computers and laptops, if there's been no sound played for a while, and then start playing sound, it fades in over about 2 seconds. This is a big problem for something like notification dings, as the dings play completely before the sound has 'woken up' and are then silent. Anyone know if this is some sort of setting? Posted October 4, 2024 You can always check in the power settings just in case. You can also check in device manager and untick the "allow windows to shut down this device to save power" checkbox. Hope that helps.
