Hello everyone, unfortunately I need a new PC.

I'm currently still using an i5 4690k, Z97, 16GB DDR3 with a GTX 1070ti.

I only want to take over the case from the old PC (NZXT H5 Flow 2023 with bequiet fans) and I have already got a new power supply (bequiet Pure Power 12 1000w for just under 120€, deliberately overkill). In my old one is a bequiet Straight Power 11 with 650w, but I don't think that would have enough headroom for the components. Had to switch this last year as my old one died.

Now the question for me is whether one of these two configurations makes sense for you, I want to use the PC for as long as possible with as few problems as possible. I am therefore still unsure whether I want to use the Arctic Liquied Freezer III or rather an air cooling system (like Peerless Assassin 140 Black).

I'm not interested in RGB, the main thing is that the parts are black.

My requirements are medium to high graphics settings on a UWQHD 160Hz screen for games like CS2, Warthunder, and I wanted to play Horizon Forbidden West.

I have prepared these two configurations, one with a more expensive MB with debug code LED and one without. I'm not sure if it's worth the price difference and also whether you can trust Asus or not, there was something about that, wasn't there? Apart from that, all I need from the MB is a way to clear the CMOS in case something happens, at least two M.2 slots and at least 2 SATA ports. Power button and debug code ob the board, but I have built my last PC in 2015 and that didn‘t have it, so idk.

I‘ve got these two builds prepared, but I‘m open to suggestions. But I want new parts only, have gotten screwed to often on used parts.

With more affordable board:

Thank you all in advance. Feel free to make suggestions or tell me if I did anything wrong.

Regarding the title and this topic, debug LEDs are great, the 7 segment displays with POST codes really aren't necessary in comparison. There's very little extra I've been able to deduce from POST codes that the CPU/RAM/VGA POST LEDs couldn't also tell me without having to pull out a manual.

Thank you for the quick answer:)

Up until now I have only seen it in builds on YouTube and it seemed handy.
Also I‘m kinda afraid to bridge the pins but I guess I could also get some random power button.

What do you think about the picked parts?
