Yes... 22H2 is old. Latest is 23H2 with 24H2 on the horizon soon.

This is just a specific update of Windows 11 that is losing support. Windows 12 is reportedly coming next year.

it would be nice for MS to reintroduce them add on packs they used to have back then, like Media Center Edition, Plus!, and Ultimate Extras.

So long as you update to the latest version of Windows 11, you'll be supported.

 

That said, every version of Windows since Vista has had 10 years & 3 months of support, give or take a week or 2. That assumes no upgrades between Windows versions (and Win 8 users only got 5 years if they didn't take the Windows 8.1 update via the store -8/8.1 combined had the 10y3m support cycle). Assuming that Microsoft continue with that pattern then Windows 11 would be supported until early 2032, or 7+ years from now.
