Gray Screens Displayed on External Monitors When Playing Media From Specific Sources

Bubblez_X_Beast

Hi all,

First time posting but I've had this issue for so long it's ridiculous and I want to fix it if I can. I'm using a ThinkPad P1 Gen 5 laptop with an external USB C docking station that extend to two Asus 1080p monitors and whenever I try and play videos on either HBOMax, Netflix, Disney+ or even Spotify now with their video playing preview gray screens come up on both. Weirdly, YouTube isn't affected by this. It "fixes" it if I unplug the docking station and plug it back in. But I've had this issue on my last laptop and docking station as well and had hoped that buying a new docking station would help but no. So if there's any knowledge or tips out there it would be greatly appreciated.
