Constant Resets and High Temps After Upgrade

Raigas

I recently upgraded from an i9-10850k to a 7800X3D, and transitioning to AMD has been a nightmare. My PC keeps constantly resetting, and even if I manage to get into Windows, it resets again. Additionally, my GPU temps are high. I didn’t have this problem with my i9-10850k.

My specs are: Zotac RTX 3090, NZXT X73, Revolt X Series 1000W PSU. I'm using the AM4 bracket, but I'm not sure if the AM5 bracket matters. The CPU temps are also quite high.

What do you mean by bracket?

You need to add more info.... how high are the temps....what cpu cooler do you have etc etc.

You can never provide too much information.

I did include the CPU cooler nzxt x73, which comes with two types of brackets: AM4 and AM5. However, at the time I bought the cooler, it didn’t include the AM5 bracket because it didn’t exist yet. They recommend using the AM5 bracket now, but I'm not sure if there's an actual difference. Either way, my CPU idle temperature is around 60-70°C, while the liquid temperature is only around 33°C. My GPU shows 55°C at idle, but the backplate feels really hot to the touch.

You can get the AM5 bracket from NZXT.

Is your nzxt pump plugged into a separate header from the cpu fan and the speed changed maximum?
