what are the differeances bewteen these 2 macbooks

This is just something that has been confusing me for a little while now.

i have a 2015 macbook pro 15inch base model without the dedicated gpu and i was going through everymac and noticed that the 2014 macbook pro 15inch has the exact same cpu

aswell as the exact same graphics, body, screen etc

and it had me thinking what is even the differeance bewteen these 2 macbooks, cause you can't tell me apple sold the exact same laptop a year later and called it an upgrade

as far as i can tell there aren't any differeances bewteen these 2.

Looks like the 2015 model has BT4.2 instead of BT4 and a slightly larger battery, that's all.

And they don't necessarily "call it an upgrade", it's just "what it is from now on" for whatever production reason made them do these slight changes...
