Does the S24+ run at 480hz PWM?

MS-DOS

I learned how Samsung went cheap on the S24 and it runs at 240hz, and will only kick in at 480hz if the screen is past an unknown amount of brightness.

This was found here (enable subtitles):

But the Ultra seems to run at 480hz all the time which is nice. But these phones are too big.

My question is, anyone does know if the Plus works at 480hz all the time or it does have this cheap hack too?

Speaking of cheap hacks, someone mentioned to run it at 100% brightness and use a dimming app like OLED saver but that will probably damage the screen long term.

If anyone knows this please let me know.

According to this, it will run at 240hz too which sucks

In order to regulate its brightness, the Galaxy smartphone uses OLED-typical PWM at a frequency of 240 to 480 Hz. The amplitude curve was very even across the phone's entire brightness spectrum in our measurement using an oscilloscope.

So im not sure what to do here. Anyone is familiar with this?

One question, why do you need your phone to run at 480hz? Isn't 240 more than enough?

Help for those with PWM Sensitivity

A community for those with Temporal Light Modulation (rapid pulsing light flicker) sensitivity. PWM, a common screen dimming techniques today, aggravates its provocative flicker by up to 6300%. Symptoms experienced among sensitive users include: eyestrain; headache; migraine. A new screen pulsing dimming technique introduced, called PAM, equally aggravates (to a slightly lesser extent). Do refer to the 'Background of Community' section to learn more about the above phenomenon.
