KaiOS Nokia 2780 Wi-Fi calling error "ER081 - Unable to connect"

I get this notification at least daily. Usually it comes in bursts of two or three notification sounds within 20 seconds. Wi-Fi calling works reliably so I don't understand why this error is happening. And I need Wi-Fi calling because I only get a cell tower signal by certain windows in my home. KaiOS 3.1 and T-Mobile.

I didn't ask if it was worth fixing, I asked for help fixing it.
